About Faculty of Arts
The Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s oldest and most prestigious institute of higher education for humanities. The Faculty offers a variety of programs, including language studies, history, philosophy, geography, information studies, and dramatic arts. A distinctive feature is the Faculty’s success in blending rigorous training and state-of-the-art methodologies, fostering students to become critical global thinkers with cultural literacy. The school integrates tradition and modernization to produce skilled graduates who are deeply aware of and appreciate how languages, cultures, and the arts can be complex, but lead to human understanding.
